Boarders Without Borders implements projects that support communities and local organisations to promote and develop board and adventure sports for peace and development.

 

OUR APPROACH & OUR PROJECTS

With the right range of support, including the provision of equipment, training, infrastructure development, public awareness and advocacy, organisational and small business support, we want to harness the transformational potential of these sports.

 

Our Projects:

• Introduction and instruction of board and adventure sports to youth affected by poverty and conflict, the provision of equipment and infrastructure. 

 

• Supporting local organisations working on youth empowerment or with board and adventure sports to equip them with the capacity to advance our mission.

 

• Raising awareness about the benefits of board and adventure sports for youth empowerment, post conflict rehabilitation, health, sustainable tourism and for environmental protection.

 

• Collecting knowledge and carrying out research.

 

WHERE WE WORK

Boarders Without Borders focuses on countries affected by under development or conflict. Where individuals and communities face exclusion, depravation and psychological scars from poverty and conflict. And where access to adventure and board sports for youth is just a pipe dream.
